How Do I Get Started?
Yes. A referral from your child's doctor is necessary for him/her to receive therapy services . We can request it from your doctor with your permission if needed or you can have your child's doctor fax it to: 800.669.2161
Often times insurance will pay for therapy services. We will happily check your benefits for you and let you know what your coverage and possible payment responsibility is. We accept Medicare, most Medicaid, CHIPS, and several private insurances. We can also accept private pay at a flat fee rate for all services.
Just call or email us. This information is located in the 'Contact Us' page of our website. We will need basic information like name, date of birth, pediatrician's name, insurance information, and what area your child is having trouble with. Once this information is received our intake person will verify benefits and send your information to the appropriate therapy location so that you can be scheduled for the evaluation. We have four locations in the metroplex: Dallas, Denton, Rowlett, and Irving.
How Does Therapy Work?
All therapy will be provided in a clinic. Pediatric Rehab has four locations to serve the DFW area.
One-on-one therapy is provided by licensed Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapists. Our therapist's have a wide range of clinical experience and expertise to be sure you and your child get exactly what is needed for the best possible outcomes.
A licensed therapist will do a thorough evaluation on your child. This will include standardized testing, collecting appropriate objective data, a review of medical information provided by your physician, and parent interview.
